I want a woman who will love me, really love me, all of me,
And who will kiss my rough, calloused fingers
Who will wrap about me like vines
And comb my hair with her smooth branches
Who will nest for warmth, even in Summer
Be cradled under my arm
And listen closely for the ocean in my chest--
The crash of the waves, spilling from my nostrils,
And the rise and fall of my breath.
I want a woman who will love.
